Baghdad / NINA / – The Minister of Agriculture, Mohammed Karim Al-Khafaji, arrived in Erbil Governorate to discuss the outstanding issues regarding the protection and development of the agricultural sector in the country.
A statement by the Ministry of Agriculture stated that Al-Khafaji arrived, today, Saturday, in Erbil Governorate, and was received by the Minister of Agriculture and Water Resources in the Kurdistan Regional Government, Baykard Talabani, and the visit comes to discuss the outstanding issues regarding the protection of the local product and the development of the agricultural sector in the country.
The Minister of Agriculture is accompanied, according to the statement, by a delegation of officials in the ministry, as well as a group of poultry producers and farmers, in order to inform them of the talks he will have with the region’s leadership for the purpose of integrating the federal agricultural calendar with the outlets of the Kurdistan region./
