Baghdad – Minister of Education Names Al-Jubouri received today, the Director of UNICEF in Iraq, Shema San Gupta, and the Director of Education at the United Nations Children’s Fund, Tia Vallandinkham, to discuss joint areas of cooperation to achieve an advanced educational system.
A statement by the Ministry stated that Al-Jubouri praised the efforts of UNICEF as a distinguished partner in strengthening the education system in Iraq in all directions, indicating that the educational institution is keen to develop relations and mutual coordination with specialized international organizations, especially UNICEF, and to support projects and programs that keep pace with the variables of knowledge and science.
For her part, the Director of UNICEF in Iraq confirmed that the organization is committed to its promises in all educational frameworks and providing support to improve education outcomes.
