The Minister of Foreign Affairs Assures An Iranian Diplomat Of Iraq’s Keenness To Consolidate Cooperation With Tehran

Baghdad Foreign Minister Fuad Hussein discussed with Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesman Saeed Khatibzadeh bilateral relations and joint cooperation.

Hussein stressed, according to a ministry statement, keenness to strengthen and consolidate cooperation with Tehran in various fields, for the benefit of the two peoples.

For his part, Khatibzadeh praised the course of bilateral relations between the two countries, expressing his country’s aspiration to develop joint cooperation at various levels, especially at the present time, as the region is witnessing successive challenges that require concerted efforts to prevent foreign interventions, and intensify coordination against the background of Iraq that bears.
