– Minister of Foreign Affairs Fuad Hussein met today in the Bahraini capital, Manama, the Secretary-General of the Gulf Cooperation Council, Dr. Nayef Al-Hajraf.

The spokesman for the ministry, Ahmed Al-Sahhaf, said: During the meeting, a number of issues related to joint Arab action were discussed.

Hussein, according to Al-Sahaf, stressed the need to activate the mechanisms of joint work with the Gulf Cooperation Council, in a way that reflects the depth of relations and the common interests they entail.
