The Minister of Interior, Abdul Amir Al-Shammari, arrived in Diyala Governorate today, Monday, at the head of a high-level security delegation to review the security situation in it and evaluate the procedures of the security forces, units, and services in enhancing security and stability in the governorate.

The security delegation included the Army Chief of Staff, Deputy Commander of Joint Operations, Commander of the Ground Forces, Undersecretaries of the Minister of Interior and a number of security leaders.

Upon its arrival, the delegation held a meeting at the headquarters of the Diyala Operations Command to discuss the overall security situation and work to review the drawn plans
