Baghdad Minister of Interior Othman Al-Ghanimi visited the command and control headquarters of the Popular Mobilization in Karbala to review the procedures for securing the protection of pilgrims (visitors).

A statement from his office stated that the minister, accompanied by the commander of the Middle Euphrates Operations, visited the Command and Control Center /Ashura Operations/ of the Popular Mobilization. He was received by the Chief of Staff of the Popular Mobilization and a number of leaders, where they discussed the security plans prepared for this occasion, the spread of the Popular Mobilization units, and the tasks and duties they perform during the days of the visit.

The minister also conducted an air tour to see the flow of pilgrims (visitors) heading to the holy city of Karbala, as well as the spread of security services
