Baghdad The Ministry of Communications announced obtaining approvals to launch the first Iraqi satellite.

The Minister of Communications, Engineer Arkan Al-Shaibani, representative of the Prime Minister, Mustafa Al-Kadhimi, at the second Iraqi cybersecurity conference, said: “Iraq announces the launch of the first Iraqi satellite. This is considered an achievement that represents the prestige and sovereignty of the state and under the direct guidance of the Prime Minister, who emphasized on keeping pace with the technological development taking place in the telecommunications sector
