Baghdad The Ministry of Justice announced the numbers of those released during the month of January 2023.

A statement by the Ministry stated: that the number of those released by release, by a discriminatory decision, or by termination of sentence reached (650) inmates, (576) men and (74) women, while the number of those released during the past month for those covered by the general amnesty law reached (13) inmates, to become the number of those released by law from November 2016 until January 31, 2023 (9552) inmates.
