The Ministry of Oil organizes a new licensing round for the transfer of oil derivatives

Baghdad The Ministry of Oil organized a new licensing round for the transportation of oil derivatives, with the participation of 57 Iraqi private sector companies that transport fuel.

The Undersecretary for Distribution Affairs Hamid Younis said in a statement to the ministry, “The ministry organized a licensing round for the transfer of oil derivatives to processing outlets and warehouse branches in the governorates.”

The Director General of the Oil Products Distribution Company, Hussein Talib, stated that “the competition included (30) axes for all distribution outlets and warehouses.”

It is noteworthy that the ministry annually organizes a licensing round for private sector companies specialized in transporting types of fuels for the benefit of the Ministries of Oil and Electricity.
