Baghdad The National Nahj (Approach) Alliance rejected attempts to create an atmosphere of normalization with the Zionist entity.
The head of the alliance, MP Ammar Tohma, said in a press statement: “We strongly condemn and reject and call for the prosecution of the voices that profess normalization with the Zionist entity, since Iraqi law criminalizes these treacherous actions against the constants of the Iraqis and denying the grievances of the Palestinian people from the Zionist entity’s terrorist policies, and contrasting with the Iraqis’ historical positions in support of the Palestinian cause and the perpetuation of the momentum of the Palestinian people’s revolution in confronting and combating the Zionist arrogance and its criminality.
Tohma wondered how such conferences are held in a region that belongs to the Iraqi state, and the factors and reasons for convening them are available and the issuance of such stances that are alienated from the values, principles and constants of Iraq and the Iraqis without holding those in charge of them and collaborators in preparation for them accountable?
He added: “We remind those who were deceived by these provocative activities to the feelings of Iraqis and Muslims, that their fate will not differ from those who preceded them in pursuing this deviant and meager path, which is shame, ostracism and contempt.”
Tohma called on the government, parliament, national political forces, social activities and Arab clans to adopt a united and courageous voice in denouncing and rejecting these malicious plans aimed at diluting the nation’s immunity against the Zionist terrorist entity in order to deter these and others, and block the way for these subversive projects intrusive on the morals, values, principles and traditions of Iraqis and Muslims in general.
