Baghdad / NINA / – The Palestinian parliamentary delegation, headed by the President of the Palestinian National Council, Rawhi Ahmad Fattouh, arrived in Baghdad this evening.
The delegation was received at Baghdad airport by the First Deputy Speaker of Parliament, Mohsen Al-Mandalawi.
Al-Mandalawi stressed: Iraq’s firm and permanent position towards the Palestinian cause and the right of the Palestinian people to establish an independent state with Al-Quds Al-Sharif as its capital, and the importance of benefiting from the presence of the participating Arab parliaments to enhance cooperation and achieve the aspirations and interests of the Arab peoples./ End
