Speaker of the House of Representatives Salim al-Jubouri said that the parliament ended the vote on the federal budget 2018 in circumstances that were not easy.

Al-Jubouri said in a press conference today, "the budget included cancellation of all deductions for employees and retirees, and give power to the Council of Ministers to add allocations to the salaries of employees for any emergency," referring to reducing sales tax and deferment of debts to farmers and transfer of powers to the provinces.

He added that "the Ministries will pay the amounts of financial advances to those who were martyred in terrorist operations, as well as to grant loans from government banks," noting that "the budget included the allocation of functional grades for the delayed contracts, and that the awakening continue to keep the land with the payment of their dues of salaries ".

Al-Jubouri went on to say that "the representatives of the Kurdish blocs and parties wanted to include some points within the budget relating to the salaries of the staff of the region and the salaries of the Peshmerga, and transfer money to the city of Halabja to build a hall with some other allocations," noting that " related to employees and farmers ".

Al-Jubouri announced that the House of Representatives will hold a meeting on Monday to introduce important laws, including the law of the National Oil Company and the law of the protection of teachers and the law of sports clubs, "noting that" the House of Representatives is keen to end of what we started with by the legislation of laws and part of our commitment.
