The Parliamentary Culture Committee is discussing the enactment of a number of laws

Baghdad The Culture, Tourism, Antiquities and Media Committee in the House of Representatives discussed the legislation of the Ministry of Culture, Tourism and Antiquities law and a number of other laws, as well as amending the Iraqi Media Network Law.

The Head of the age of the committee confirmed during the periodic meeting held at the parliament building today, that the committee drew a plan for its future work, and set priorities for its agenda in the coming days, the most important of which was the legislation of the laws of the Ministry of Culture, the preservation of cultural heritage, the protection of the diversity of forms of cultural expression, and the amendment of the Media Network Law. The Iraqi, stressing that the legislation and amendments are in the interest of the citizen in the first place and the institutions concerned in accordance with the requirements of the current stage.

The Committee also discussed the mechanism for changing the members of the Supervising Committee of Samarra Law, the Capital of Iraq for Islamic Civilization, from the representatives who did not run for this session, and replacing them with new representatives from the Culture and Endowments Committees, in addition to the representatives of Salah al-Din Governorate, and submitting them to the Presidency of the Council to decide on the matter.
