Baghdad The security forces arrested the perpetrators of the explosion of a car bomb in al-Tamim neighborhood in Mosul, during the month of May.
A statement by the Federal Intelligence and Investigations Agency stated, “The terrorist group implemented the criminal operation, consisting of three terrorists, was arrested, and their den in which the vehicle was booby-trapped with the materials used in the booby-trapping operation was seized.”
The statement added that: “Through field detection of the method of booby-trapping, it was found that the perpetrators of the heinous crime did not use the traditional method using explosive materials (TNT, C4 or remnants of war), but rather used cooling oxygen bottles and kerosene and gasoline bottles, and they are from families known for their loyalty to ISIS gangs and wanted according to the provisions of Article 4 of the Anti-Terrorism Law.
It is mentioned that a car bomb exploded on the 23rd of last May in al-Tamim neighborhood in Mosul, which led to the death and injury of a number of citizens.
