Baghdad The Popular Mobilization Forces have arrested three ISIS elements, including an important leader, in three provinces, including the capital, Baghdad.

The Popular Mobilization Authority stated in a statement: “The Directorate of Security and Discipline, in cooperation and high coordination with the intelligence of the Popular Mobilization and the security forces in Kirkuk Governorate, arrested a terrorist element belonging to the remnants of ISIS within the so-called “Iraq Wilayat” / Kirkuk sector, who was transporting Food and other needs for ISIS additives deployed in Wadi al-Shay.

It added, “another terrorist working in an effective military detachment in the terrorist organization was also arrested within the so-called ‘Iraq Province’ / a sector north of Baghdad in the Tarmiyah area.”

It continued: “A terrorist element who was one of the most important leaders in one of the terrorist organizations before 2014 was also arrested in Mosul during the occupation of ISIS, he belonged to the terrorist organization within the Wilayat of Mosul, and after the liberation operations, he renewed allegiance to the terrorist organization and returned to work within the “Iraq Wilayat” / Mosul Sector and he is one of the most prominent terrorists within the Mosul sector
