Baghdad The President of the Republic, Barham Salih, met with the Secretary-General of the Iraqi Islamic Party, Rashid Al-Azzawi.

The two sides discussed, according to a presidential statement, the political developments in the country, and stressed the need to enhance stability and protect the security of citizens, and the importance of solidarity among all at the current stage in order to move towards great national and popular benefits represented in reform, reconstruction and support for the pillars of good governance.
