– The President of the Republic, Abdul Latif Jamal Rashid, called today, Friday, for the development of legislation in support of a culture of coexistence between men and women.
The President of the Republic said in a tweet on his Twitter account that “the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women is a reminder and urge to put an end to this brutal behavior.”
He added, “Let the development of legislation, law enforcement, and the development of a culture of coexistence in peace and understanding be a continuous work for the freedom and dignity of women and men alike, and let all our days be a partnership in life , living, love and peace.”
