Baghdad, The President of the Republic, Abdul Latif Jamal Rashid, stressed the importance of supporting the government in implementing its ambitious ministerial program, which aims to improve the living and service conditions of citizens.
A presidential statement stated: “The president met today, in Baghdad Palace, MP Sheikh Wasfi Al-Asi, Emir of Al-Ubaid tribe.”
The President of the Republic stressed the necessity of unifying the national ranks, solidarity, and concerted efforts in order to consolidate security and stability in the country and protect peaceful and social coexistence among all components, in a way that preserves the rights of citizens and meets their needs and requirements.
He pointed to the importance of supporting the government in implementing its ambitious ministerial program, which aims to improve the living and service conditions of citizens, and to initiate construction and reconstruction, especially basic infrastructure projects.
For his part, Sheikh Wasfi Al-Asi stressed the importance of solidarity in facing challenges and protecting societal peace.
