Baghdad The President of the Republic, Barham Salih, met today, Thursday, musician Nasir Shamma.

Salih said in a tweet: “I was delighted to receive the eighth string and the unique experience, the revamped musician Nasir Shamma…a long and continuous journey full of creativity and one of the most prominent contributors to the Iraqi cultural scene.”

He added, “Shamma’s products embody a patriotic voice expressing the concerns of the nation and its people,” stressing the importance of advancing culture, especially supporting talented youth.
