The Prime Minister holds a session of talks with the Prime Minister of Kuwait

Baghdad Prime Minister Muhammad Al-Sudani headed the Iraqi side during a session of talks he held in Kuwait, which he arrived earlier today, while the Kuwaiti side was headed by his counterpart Ahmed Al-Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah .

A statement issued by the Prime Minister’s Media Office said that this visit has implications that express the privacy enjoyed by Kuwait in Iraq, and reflects the historical depth in the relations between the two neighboring countries and the desire to consolidate them at various levels and fields.

Al-Sudani affirmed his government’s intention to establish real partnerships with the Kuwaiti government, which will clearly reflect on the interests of the Iraqi and Kuwaiti peoples.

For his part, the Prime Minister of the State of Kuwait expressed full readiness for broad cooperation with Iraq to serve common interests and maintain partnership in various aspects of economy, investment and trade.

The session witnessed discussions and exchange of views on a number of files of common interest, and issues related to bilateral relations between the two brotherly countries.
