The Prime Minister to the Iraqis: The future of your children is determined by the elections, so nothing prevents you from choosing the best

Baghdad Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kadhimi valued the position of His Eminence, the supreme religious authority, Sayyid Al-Sistani, in inviting citizens to participate in the elections, while urging the Iraqi people to walk steadily towards the polls,

Al-Kadhimi addressed all Iraqis by saying that “the future of your children is determined by the elections, so nothing prevents you from choosing who you see fittest,” noting that “this is the first election since 2003 to be held and the prime minister did not run for elections, which means that there is no pressure on the commission.”

Al-Kadhimi also praised the role of the clergy and social activities in urging the elections and not to boycott, so that the results would not be counterproductive, and those who do not deserve and who are not the fittest are confronting to the responsibility
