Najaf The Religious Authority, Jawad Al-Khalisi, condemned the calls for normalization issued by the Erbil conference, describing them as treason, stressing that the line of betrayal and normalization does not represent the voice of the Iraqi people and does not belong to the entire nation.

Al-Khalisi said in a comment on his Twitter site, “We condemn the calls for normalization that took place from the last Erbil conference under the title “Abraham Agreements”, and we stress that the line of betrayal and normalization does not represent the voice of the Iraqi people and does not belong to the entire nation.

He added, “this conference and the normalization steps represent an important stage of exposure and an inevitable prelude to removing the foreign scum and achieving victory.

Al-Khalisi called on the official authorities to take a clear position on these calls and these conferences; because we, as a people and a nation, categorically reject all treacherous calls and steps for normalization.
