Baghdad The Ambassador of the Syrian Arab Republic, Sattam Jadaan Al-Dandah, visited the Iraqi Journalists Syndicate today, and he met the head of the Iraqi Journalists Syndicate, the head of the Arab Journalists Federation, Muayyad Al-Lami.

The Iraqi Journalists Syndicate said in a statement: “During the meeting, aspects of cooperation between Iraq and Syria in the cultural and media fields were discussed, and the head of the Iraqi Journalists Syndicate gave an explanation of the nature of the Syndicate’s work and its active role in strengthening cooperation frameworks between unions and Arab federations, based on the responsibility that the head of the Syndicate of Journalists holds in Presidency of the Federation of Arab Journalists.

For his part, the Ambassador of the Syrian Arab Republic congratulated the head of the Iraqi Journalists Syndicate on the occasion of winning the presidency of the Federation of Arab Journalists and the importance of this in upgrading the reality of Arab media work and strengthening the bonds of Arab cultural and media relations.

He praised the active role of the Iraqi Journalists Syndicate locally, Arably and internationally.
