Baghdad President of the Republic, Abdul Latif Jamal Rashid, received a congratulatory message from Tunisian President Kais Saied, on the occasion of his election as President of the Republic.

In his message, the Tunisian president expressed the desire to work together to develop bilateral relations and raise them to the highest levels to serve the common interest of the two brotherly peoples.

On the occasion of your election as President of the Republic of Iraq, he said, “I am pleased to extend to you, on my own behalf and on behalf of the Tunisian people, my warmest congratulations and most sincere fraternal wishes for good health and happiness, and to the brotherly Iraqi people for continued stability and development to lead your country towards higher ranks on the path of progress and prosperity.

He added: “I take this opportunity to express our satisfaction with the level of historical ties of brotherhood and cooperation that unite our two countries, and to affirm our full readiness to work together to develop bilateral relations and raise them to the best levels of service for the common interest of our two brotherly peoples.”
