The Turkish Defense Ministry announces the killing of two Turkish soldiers in an attack by PKK militants in northern Iraq

Istanbul The Turkish Ministry of Defense announced that two Turkish soldiers were killed in clashes with Kurdish militants within the area of operations of the claw lock in northern Iraq.

The Turkish Defense Ministry stated in a statement that the two soldiers, Duaa Bey Ozturkman and Ismail Onal, were seriously wounded in clashes with a group of PKK fighters last night within the Operation Claw Lock area in northern Iraq, and they died after being transferred to a field hospital of the Turkish army.
