The Turkish President announces that his country’s exports have set a new record, exceeding $200 billion

Istanbul Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan announced that his country’s exports hit a new record, exceeding 200 billion dollars during the past 12 months.

Erdogan said in his speech, during his participation in the General Assembly of the Turkish Exporters Council, that Turkey reached an important threshold of 1 percent in global exports, and this year we recorded the highest numbers of exports in Turkey’s history at the monthly, semi-annual and annual levels.

He added, “Our exports for 12 months exceeded the $200 billion barrier for the first time, and broke a record by recording $211 billion as of September 17.”/ End
