The two districts of Qazaniyah and Mandali entered a state of alert, awaiting the flow of Iranian torrents

Baquba Water torrents began to flow into the largest valleys of Hamrin in Diyala Governorate.

A local source told the correspondent of the National Iraqi News Agency (NINA) today that the torrential rains began to flow towards Wadi Al-Awsaj within the Hamrin Basin, northeast of Baquba, after the area witnessed heavy rains.

He added that the torrents are heading towards Hamrin Lake, and this will lead to feeding it after a severe drought stage.

On the other hand, the Qazaniya and Mandali border areas with Iran, east of Diyala, entered a state of alert, awaiting the flow of torrents coming from the border after heavy rains in the past hours. It is unlikely that the coming floods would drown the border villages or pose a threat to the lives of the people.
