The US Embassy in Baghdad denies the refusal of the request of the Governor of Kirkuk to travel to America

BAGHDAD /  The US Embassy in Baghdad denied rejection of the request of the dismissed governor of Kirkuk Najmuddin Karim to travel to America.

The information office of the Embassy said in a statement to the National Iraqi News Agency (NINA) that the news circulating in some media about the refusal of the request of the dismissed governor of Kirkuk to travel to the United States, untrue completely .”

The US Embassy in Baghdad demanded that the media be careful and responsible for spreading news and avoiding false news.

Some media outlets reported that the US Ambassador in Iraq rejected a request by the governor, Najmuddin Karim, to leave Iraq and travel to the United States, as he was a US citizen
