Baghdad The US House of Representatives voted, by a majority, Thursday, in favor of legislation to provide one billion dollars to “Israel” to modernize the “Iron Dome” missile defense system.

This comes after Democratic lawmakers on Wednesday blocked Congress’ approval of security aid for Israel.

For his part, Israeli Prime Minister Naftali Bennett thanked members of the US House of Representatives, “Democrats and Republicans alike, for their overwhelming support towards Israel and commitment to its security,” he said
