Sinjar: Three army and police personnel were injured in a hand grenade attack in Sinjar District, west of Mosul.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the incident occurred following a security operation aimed at locating a kidnapped citizen in the Sinjar District. A security force was in the midst of conducting a search and investigation when the attack took place.

A hand grenade was thrown at the security team, resulting in injuries to three of its members. The injured personnel were promptly transferred to a hospital for medical treatment.
