Baghdad Three members of the Intelligence Directorate in the Popular Mobilization Forces in the Kirkuk operations sector were variously injured while they were participating in a security operation in the common areas between Salah al-Din and Kirkuk governorates.
A statement by the Popular Mobilization Authority stated: “A device exploded on a car in which the members were traveling, which resulted in varying injuries, and they were transferred to Azadi Hospital in Kirkuk.”
This morning, the Kirkuk, East Tigris and North Axis Operations Commands, with the participation of the Iraqi army and security forces, launched an operation to raid, search and secure the common areas between the Kirkuk and Salah al-Din governorates.
