To discuss cooperation and mutual coordination.. Deputy Commander of Joint Operations receives a British military commander

Baghdad Deputy Commander of Joint Operations, Lieutenant-General Qais Al-Muhammadawi, received today, Tuesday, at the headquarters of the British Joint Operations Command, General Garley Scotland, and discussed with him a number of issues of common interest, foremost of which is coordination between the two commands.

During the meeting, according to a statement by the Command, they discussed cooperation in the field of training, capacity-raising and holding workshops, as well as discussing continuing to fight ISIS terrorist gangs.

The Deputy Commander of Joint Operations indicated that there has been great progress in the readiness and capabilities of the Iraqi security forces, and they are continuing to combat terrorism and crime and to enhance security and stability in various regions of the country.
