Baghdad Saudi Tariq Hamdi won a silver + 75 kg in karate, giving the Kingdom its first medal in Tokyo 2020.
The gold for this event was won by the Iranian Sajad Kanj Zadeh.
The French men’s handball team won the gold medal, today, Saturday, by defeating its Danish counterpart, the Rio Olympics champion, who won the game’s silver with a score of 25/23 goals in the 2020 Tokyo Olympics.
The Danish and French teams were both parties to the handball final in the Rio de Janeiro 2016 Olympics, and Denmark won the gold in the game, and France finished runners-up to win the silver.
