Transportation Ministry: The arrival of about (152) passengers to the homeland as part of the fifth evacuation flight of the national carrier coming from India

Baghdad The General Company for Iraqi Airways at the Ministry of Transportation announced today, Friday, that about (152) passengers have arrived on board one of the national carrier planes designated for the evacuation of Iraqi citizens stranded inside Indian territories.

The General Manager of the company, Captain Kifah Hassan, said in a statement: With the arrival of the fifth evacuation flight, the total number of those transported on board our air fleet from India to Iraq will be about (1,669) citizens.

Hassan stressed the great efforts made by the Iraqi government and the Ministry of Transport as they bear the gravity of the situation in order to safely return Iraqi families to the homeland.
