Media sources announced that the Prime Minister of Tunisia, Hisham Al-Mashishi, was infected with the Coronavirus.
A statement issued by the Presidency of the Tunisian Government stated that Al-Mashishi had tested positive for Covid-19 after the results of the periodic analyzes he was conducting appeared, and all his work meetings that had been previously identified were suspended, according to the Tunisian “Nesma” channel.
The statement added that Al-Mashishi will continue to perform his work remotely in a way that does not affect the normal course of government work, and that he will take into account compliance with all preventive measures against the coronavirus.
The statement indicated that the team working with Al-Mashishi will be fully subjected to necessary tests and analyzes to ensure that they are free of the emerging “Coronavirus” and that it is not transmitted to them.
It is mentioned that the Tunisian Prime Minister, Hisham Al-Mashishi, had received the second dose of the new vaccine against “Coronavirus” on May 25.
