Najaf – Dr. Eng. Majid Al-Waeli, the Governor of Najaf Al-Ashraf, received the Turkish Ambassador to Iraq, Ali Reza Konay, and his delegation, including the Turkish Consul in Al-Najaf Al-Ashraf, Jaafar Olcay, and representatives from Turkish businesses and companies.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the meeting, held in Al-Waeli's office, focused on exploring avenues for joint cooperation in investment, industrial, commercial, and scientific sectors. Konay expressed Turkish companies' willingness to invest in various sectors in Najaf. Business representatives from Turkey also presented overviews of their work, showing interest in contributing to Najaf's reconstruction efforts.
