Kirkuk The Governor of Kirkuk, Rakan Al-Jubouri, discussed with the Turkish Ambassador to Iraq, Ali Reza Güni, the importance of the Turkish companies’ contribution to the reconstruction of Kirkuk and support for stabilization efforts in the liberated areas.
The Ambassador said in a press conference with Al-Jubouri, in the presence of the head of the Iraqi Turkmen Front, Hassan Turan: “We visited Najaf and Karbala and today Kirkuk and we will visit all Iraqi cities that are of great importance and I found in Kirkuk interest in Turkey and its diplomats.”
He added, “the first plane that will land at Kirkuk airport will be from the Turkish Airlines,” stressing the willingness and desire of Turkish companies to work in the field of reconstruction and investment in Kirkuk.
The Turkish Ambassador added: “We support the unity of Iraq and the stability of Kirkuk is stability for Iraq, as Kirkuk has a speciality and is a miniature Iraq.”
For his part, the Governor of Kirkuk clarified: “Today the province is more secure, stable, peaceful and coexistent,” stressing the importance of the Turkish companies’ contribution to supporting reconstruction and restoring stability.
