Turkish Defense Minister: We have installed “S-400” missiles, and they are ready to repel any danger

Baghdad Turkish Defense Minister Hulusi Akar announced the deployment of Russian-made “S-400” missile batteries against air targets, and that they are ready to be used to repel any air threat that threatens Turkey.

He said in a press statement, “Negotiations between the Turkish and American military delegations on the F-16 aircraft are continuing.”

He added, “The negotiations came with good results,” noting that four meetings have been held so far, three of them in Turkey and one in the United States.

He continued, “We have other things on our minds as well, other than the F-16 file.”
