Turkish Foreign Minister Arrives In Tehran

Tehran / Turkish Foreign Minister, Mevlut Cavusoglu arrived in Tehran today for talks with Iranian President Hassan Rowhani and Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif, on bilateral relations and regional and international issues of common interest.

The visit is the second for the Turkish foreign minister to Tehran since the failed military coup in Turkey in July.

It is mentioned that Iranian foreign minister visited Ankara twice in recent months; first in the August 12, where he met Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and Foreign Minister, and Mevlut Cavusoglu, and the second was a short visit in September 28 while returning from New York after attending the meeting of the General Assembly of the United Nations.
