BAGHDAD, Turkey announced the participation of its Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu at the Kuwait International Conference for the Reconstruction of Iraq and the meeting of the countries of the International Coalition against (Daesh) this week.
“Cavusoglu will deliver a speech at the two conferences as well as bilateral meetings on the sidelines of his active participation,” the Turkish foreign ministry said in a statement.
The statement added that during the conference to reconstruct Iraq, the efforts made by Turkey so far for the stability and prosperity of Iraq will be highlighted.
“At the foreign ministers’ meeting of the coalition countries, Turkey’s contribution to the fight against terrorism and its call to the international community to fight against terrorist organizations will be emphasized,” the statement added.
The Iraq reconstruction conference is scheduled to take place from February 12 to 14, with the participation of a number of donor countries and international and regional organizations, headed by five parties – the European Union, Iraq, Kuwait, the United Nations and the World Bank.
Kuwait is also hosting a meeting of foreign ministers of the international coalition countries against (Daash) on Tuesday
