Hilla Twenty people were poisoned this evening, Thursday, as a result of the leakage of chlorine gas from a water purification plant in the Tayyara neighborhood in central Hilla.
A source in the Babylon Police said, “the civil defense teams managed to stop the leakage of chlorine gas from the water purification plant in the Tayyara neighborhood in central Hilla this evening, Thursday, which caused the poisoning of twenty people.”
He added that the injured were taken to Hilla Surgical Hospital for treatment, and that most of them have left the hospital.
