The Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG) announced on Thursday that Arbil and Baghdad have reached a “principled” agreement on six points of contention between them.
“Arbil and Baghdad have reached an agreement on six points of disagreement,” a spokesman for the Kurdistan government, Sven Dziyi, told a news conference, added “There is nothing left on the agreement except the approval of Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi.”
He pointed out that “no date has been specified to lift the air embargo on airports in the Kurdistan region.”
