Al-Kut Wasit police detachments arrested 21 foreigners who violated the residency law, in a number of areas of the governorate.

Police Media Director Colonel Salah Khayoun told the National Iraqi News Agency (NINA) correspondent that “Wasit Police, in the context of enhancing community security and law enforcement, and through its formations throughout the governorate, arrested 21 violators of different nationalities within the governorate, for violating the Iraqi residency law for foreigners No. 76 of 2017.

He added, “All violators have been referred to the competent authorities to complete the legal procedures against them.”
