Baghdad An official source in the Ministry of Finance announced that the ministry has restructured Al-Rafidain Bank as part of the reforms it is undertaking in the white paper.

The source, who preferred not to be named, told Al-Iqtisad News: The Ministry of Finance is currently working on restructuring Rafidain Bank, through several procedures, including separating the bank’s board of directors from the Ministry of Finance and entering a technical system instead of the current system used.

He added, that: the reforms also include the selection of a new manager for the Rafidain Bank, indicating that the next stage, which will begin after two years, may take place in which a merger of the bank’s branches will take place.
