Al-Amarah Dozens of workers in the southeastern electricity networks in Maysan demonstrated in front of the networks building to demand the payment of their overdue allowances and the adjustment of the salary scale.

A number of demonstrators explained that their salaries were delayed every month by at least 15 days, demanding that a fixed date be set for their receipt.
