Manama, Youth and Sports Affairs Minister, Ayman bin Tawfiq Al-Moayyad, today met Iraqi Minister of Youth and Sports, Adnan Darjal, who is on an official visit to the kingdom to attend Iraq’s Group “C” Asian Qualifiers matches, currently hosted by Bahrain.

The two ministers discussed ways to enhance bilateral cooperation in the youth and sports fields, for the best interests of the two brotherly countries.

Al-Moayyad hailed the good relations between the two brotherly countries across all fields, including youth and sports.

The Iraqi minister lauded the existing constructive cooperation between his country and Bahrain, praising the kingdom’s efforts to ensure the success of the Asian Qualifiers for the World Cup 2022 and the Asian Cup 2023 for Group “C”, as well as its keenness to provide all comfort requirements for the participating teams.
