Zionist Army Chief of Staff Prepares for “Continued Fighting” Post-Temporary Truce

Baghdad: The Chief of Staff of the Zionist army, Herzi Halevy, has approved plans for continued military action immediately following the end of the current temporary truce. This announcement was made by army spokesman Avichai Adraee.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, The Wall Street Journal reported that mediators are hoping to extend the ceasefire for an additional four days, which could lead to the release of more women and children. Israeli public radio indicated that the war council is set to convene to discuss the potential extension of the truce in Gaza.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, during his visit to the Gaza Strip on Sunday, asserted, “We will continue until the end, until victory… Nothing will stop us.” Concurrently, US President Joe Biden expressed his desire to extend the temporary truce, which is slated to expire on Tuesday.
