Maysan police carry out 76 arrest warrants against wanted persons during the past week

Amara Maysan Governorate Police Directorate announced today, Thursday, the outcome of the weekly activities and duties of the town’s police department and its affiliated police stations.

The Directorate said in a statement, that the town’s police station detachments were able to implement 76 arrest warrants in separate areas of the district of responsibility.

It added, that among the executed orders are several cases, the most important of which are terrorism, premeditated murder, fraud, threats and harm, as well as criminal offenses and other legal violations.

It pointed out, that a Kalashnikov type weapon and ammunition stores were seized during the inspections and the installation of sudden controls, and indicated that the necessary legal measures were taken and the accused were referred to the judiciary.
