Baghdad The Secretary-General of al-Furatain Movement, MP Muhammad Shiaa Al-Sudani, affirmed that Al- Furatain Movement’s position supports effective participation in the elections by educating voters with a national discourse that matches the aspirations of the people of society to reach real change.

Al-Sudani stressed, during the visit of al-Furatain Movement delegation headed by him and Deputy Secretary-General of the movement Bashar Al-Saadi to the headquarters of the Communist Party yesterday evening, and his meeting with the Secretary of the Central Committee of the Party Raed Fahmy and Deputy Secretary Mofeed Al-Jazaery, the need to seek the assistance of peaceful popular pressure for the desired change demanded by the masses, which is an important entitlement on the road to political reform after years of unsatisfactory performance that resulted in a series of economic, social and security failures that negatively affected the nature and lifestyle of citizens.

The Movement delegation indicated the importance of creating a safe and stable environment for all voters and political forces, as well as citizens, in order to generate conviction of the feasibility of participation and to achieve the aspirations of the masses for change.

During the meeting, an exchange of views took place between al-Furatain Movement and the leadership of the Communist Party, which were identical, especially in the unification of positions regarding the elections and the importance of integrating the efforts of national forces, leading to the crystallization of a national project that achieves real reform.
