Baghdad A joint force of the Popular Mobilization, the army and the police of the Nineveh Operations Command carried out, on Monday, a large-scale security operation from eight axes to pursue ISIS elements and wanted persons in the province and secure the energy transmission lines.

A statement by the Security Media Cell stated that the operation “includes conducting a search, inspection and security check in the surrounding villages of (the public road Mosul – Tal Afar and the main road Mosul -Mahlabiya) and securing the electric power transmission lines in the area from sabotage operations by terrorist groups.”

The joint force was divided into eight main axes to complete the duty entrusted to it to drain the sources of ISIS terrorism and search for wanted persons.
